Welcome back to school, we hope you all had a wonderful half-term!
Even though we are only 3 days into the new term, there have been lots of exciting activities taking place around school!
We start in Year 3 where the children have welcomed a special visitor - a Woolly Mammoth! The children looked at how their heights compare to the extinct species and have been looking at descriptions of the Woolly Mammoth.
Year 4 have been getting practical, creating their own panpipe instruments from straws.
We caught Year 5 in the middle of their PE lesson on Wednesday afternoon, where they were playing hockey and tennis.
Year 6 have been showcasing their art skills, creating mountain sunset pictures and designing their own 3D contour maps.
Reception have been very busy, designing houses to show who lives at home. Class 2 also went to Forest School on Wednesday where they made magic wands and soup!
Year 1 have been showcasing their nature sculptures that they created before half-term.
Year 2 have started planting ahead of spring and exploring Baptism.
We are all really looking forward to the next couple of weeks...
Brand new outdoor equipment is being installed, Mrs Atter has an action-packed calendar of sports events and World Book Day promises to be fantastic next Thursday!
