This week was Sport Relief and we celebrated on Friday by engaging every class across the school in 2 very active sessions!
Mrs Atter and Lauren took us through a circuit of activities...
...and Mrs Pask took every class around 16 laps of the Key Stage 1 playground, an entire mile...
...meaning that Mrs Pask ran 14 miles during the school day, more than half a marathon!
Year 5 and 6 were active earlier in the week when they visited Yorkshire Wildlife Park, linking in with their Science and Adaptations work. Watch this space for pictures coming soon.
Meanwhile, Year 4 have been looking at how sound travels by making string telephones. They have also become very adept at playing ABBA songs on the glockenspiels...
Year 3's Stone Age necklaces and bracelets have come to life! Take a look at these fabulous creations...
In Key Stage 1, Year 2 have been writing about imaginary creatures and Year 1 have been thinking about flowers with an emphasis on BIG printing and sketching...
And EYFS had a visit from the local PCSO (Police Community Support Officer) and have enjoyed counting and sorting with smarties!
