Weekly Roundup

12th May 2017
I would like to begin by congratulating the Year 6 pupils on the way in which they applied themselves to the SATs this week. It is always a really challenging week for the children in Year 6 as they have worked so hard during their time here and it can feel extremely pressured. As you all know all we ever ask is that children try their hardest and the children in Year 6 did throughout the entire week. Whatever the results we are extremely proud of each and every pupil!
Over the next two weeks the Year 2 pupils will be assessed against the expected standards for pupils at the end of Key Stage 1 (Infants). This means that they will be doing some tests in order to check that the teachers’ judgements about their progress are correct. We will make the whole experience as calm and fun (as possible when it is a test). However if you have any concerns then please do talk to your child’s the class teacher.
