Weekly Roundup

24th November 2017

It has been a fantastic week again here at school.  During assembly on Friday I was pleased to see that Riley, Leo and Kacper were able to share the results of the colouring competition that they had organised for a homeless charity.  They managed to raise over £30 – an amazing effort.

On Wednesday we were delighted to welcome Ben Smith (winner of one of the Sports Personality Awards in 2016) to school to take an assembly.  He is about to begin a new adventure and asked the children for tips that he can use when it begins.  We look forward to seeing him again to see if our advice had any effect!

As I write the school hall is being cleaned and having new markings put down.  This is a wonderful development and we are extremely grateful to the Grantham Rotary Club who have donated the money to make this possible.

Finally, tomorrow is going to be extremely exciting as the school football team gets to play on Lincoln City’s pitch at half time.  We will let you know how it went in next week’s newsletter.
