Weekly Roundup

Despite the weather we have enjoyed another busy week. The Year 2 pupils have completed their SATs (the tests used to help their teachers to see how well they are doing). Each of the children has given one hundred percent effort and we are delighted with the progress that they are making.
Both Years 3 and 4 visited Eureka this week. Eureka is the national children’s museum and has some amazing hands on experiences for the children. They have benefitted hugely from the visit and all had a fantastic time.
The Year 4 and Year 5/6 Tennis Teams have both been in action this week. They played numerous matches applying themselves brilliantly making us extremely proud. The Year 4 Team won their mini-tournament against St Mary’s, Dudley House and St Sebastian’s. Both Year 5/6 Teams played to a high standard finishing 3rd and 6th of the 15 schools in the Grantham Tournament.
Finally, yesterday we held a governor training day here at Isaac Newton. Sixteen governors from different schools within the Community Inclusive Trust visited us and were
