Our intent is to provide the children with the future life skills that they are going to need for their adult lives and any future careers within the community. At the Isaac Newton School, we believe Design and Technology is a creative process, involving children when learning about the world we live in. By engaging in design and technology, children will learn how to think and plan in a logical sequence to overcome problems, which will give them the skills needed for their future school career and beyond. Through evaluation of past and present Design and Technology, pupils will begin to develop a critical understanding of its uses and effectiveness, which will have an impact on their daily life and the wider world.
