At Isaac Newton primary School, we believe that art stimulates creativity and imagination, whilst viewing the world through different artists their visions and views. We aim to provide our pupils with the skills, concepts and knowledge necessary for them to express responses to ideas and experiences igniting and developing their imagination. The intent of our curriculum is to enrich and empower children with skills and knowledge to enable them to master art to such an extent that they will confidently progress onto secondary school, college, university and with a possibility of a career within Art and Design and make use of art effectively within their everyday lives.
