At Isaac Newton Primary School, our RE curriculum is designed to ensure pupils develop their knowledge and understanding of religions and non-religious worldviews. Through developing their understanding of world faiths and the beliefs of others, pupils can understand the world around them. They can also show respect for other peoples’ beliefs and viewpoints and reflect on their own beliefs and values. The curriculum aims to develop pupils’ awareness of diversity and equality and their understanding of British values such as tolerance of each other’s beliefs.
